Bruce is The Word, Act V

Good Friday, once again, at High Noon nonetheless!

I hope everyone doesn't mind and perhaps enjoys the
religious/spiritual overtones given to The Word.
I do have a confession to make.....
My father was a United Methodist minister in Ohio for
40 years. Needless to say, I've been to church more
times than I can remember, can still recite a few
Biblical verses, but no longer a follower of the
religion.(not that there's anything wrong with it! )

Since he passed away in February, it only seemed
natural that I take up the priesthood! :-)
I'm sure he would be proud.
(maybe AMUSED is the right word?! )

Anyways, back to the sermon of the week......dedicated
to him, remembering the last of many postcards he sent
to me over the years, asking me if I remember the
penny postcard.......(sorry dad, can't say that I do)
.....:-)

I noticed a while back that the postage meter labels
are extremely long, so long in fact that you can
actually cut them in half across the width, thereby
DOUBLING the number of labels used. Instead of two
labels, we get FOUR! Starting today, ALL of our
postage meter labels will be pre-cut in half by
"yours truly", for your convenience. We'll be
REDUCING our usage in HALF!
How exciting is that???!!!

Well, I'M excited...

Praise be to the Almighty GREEN!!!

ps- Who can tell me what the initials "PK" stand
for? The first person to reply with the correct
answer wins a FREE beverage, on me, from Shaky
Grounds down the street! The answer will be given
next week.
